Abstract

Annotation: The article discusses the features of using video materials to improve listening skills in English language lessons in secondary general school as an additional methodological support. Based on the video fragment, an experimentally tested set of exercises for high school students is presented.


 Key words: training in listening, the principles of selection of video material, means of teaching listening, the stages of working with video text, the typology of exercises.
