ABDOMINAL INJURY IN SEVERE COMBINED INJURIES

Abstract
Abdominal injury in severe combined trauma is a particular type of injury and one of the leading causes of deaths of the wounded and injured both in peacetime and war time. Damage to the abdomen is directly correlated with 40% of fatal out comes recorded annually due to car accidents and has a significant impact on the outcome in another 48% of accidents; abdominal trauma is usually accompanied by significant dysfunctions of the vital organs of the abdominal cavity and retroperitoneal space, which subsequently cause a metabolic disorder, the activities of other organs and systems. Most patients with severe combined abdominal trauma can be saved with a quick diagnosis, as well as modern active surgical tactics.
